THE NORTHERN CEMETERY WALK 10AM 90 mins

The Northern Cemetery contains the most spectacular memorial in the city - that of the owner of "Larnach's Castle" - whose skull with the holes of a fatal bullet was absent from the grave for a few years.

Take a stroll through the Victorian era cemetery with vintage rose plantings, wrought irong and lush trees and hear about the interesting people buried there.

CITY SIGHTS 1PM / 2.15PM 60 mins

Driven by a local historian, explore the 19thC buildings of old Dunedin, built from 50 years of gold mining in Central Otago. See places like Baldwin St, Otago University, First Church and other must see sights. If 1pm books out to 8 people, we'll open up the 2.15pm slot.

A “dark history’ walking tour through Dunedin’s inner city. Historic scenes of murder, disorder and police corruption. Pick-up from hotel or meet at Toitu Museum. See the beautiful buildings, learn about Dunedin's humble beginnings but hear how it all went down.
